I've always played lots of sport, tennis for years until an injury made me find another sport to participate in. Running took over and has provided many years of pleasure, up in our local mountains or out with.The Hay Hotfooters racing at weekends. (Sunday lunch afterwards compulsory!) Triathlons followed and over the last couple of years I've been looking for a big challenge......Marathon des Sables couldn't get any bigger! Lots of training and excuses to go to foriegn climes. This will be an amazing challenge and Annie and I can't wait. We want to raise loads of money for both our charities and will be holding events throughout the next couple of years to send us on our way......watch this space.
